SUPPORTING GOOD CAUSES
The Care Workers Charity (CWC)
Care workers look after and care for the most vulnerable people in our society. Long hours and often low salaries are commonplace in a sector which does so much good. The Care Workers Charity supports current and retired care workers with hardship grants to provide financial assistance to one of the largest workforces in the UK. The work they do is life-saving as well as life-changing and must be acknowledged and celebrated.
The CWC aids hundreds of workers per year when they hit financial hardships and builds support networks for people within the care industry. Through supporting this great charity, Care Shop has heard many heartfelt stories and met many incredible people who inspire us personally and professionally.
St John's Ambulance
Always at the forefront, the worker and volunteers at St John Ambulance (SJA), are helping local communities and improving their quality of life.
By providing first aid courses to schools, workplaces and individuals, St John Ambulance enables people to save lives and keep communities safe. Their charitable work spreads from even first aiders to local homeless services and first responder duties.
To support the amazing work St John Ambulance does, Care Shop has hosted the volunteers and workers from St John Ambulance for a comprehensive first aid training and fundraiser within the office facilities.
