The Portex Nasopharyngeal airway facilitates suctioning in intensive care and also provides an alternative airway during accident and emergency procedures when the oropharyngeal pathway is occluded.
The Nasopharyngeal airway has smoothly rounded edges for patient comfort and a satin smooth finish to help with insertion.
The airway is also kink resistant for an effective airway and is supplied with a safety pin in the pack for the option of an enlarged flange.
